DETERMINATION OF THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY COEFFICIENTS OF NANOCOMPOSITES MADE WITH CARBON BLACK FROM WASTE TIRES

Heat transfer can occur by radiation, convection or conduction. As a general definition, thermal conduction refers to the transfer of vibrational energy of any material to adjacent particles without any movement of the material, specifically by collision. The complexity of the heat conduction mechanism through solids is also due to many parameters that need to be considered. Thermal conductivity is an important parameter in terms of material structure. For example, plastic materials do not conduct heat as well as metal materials. The results obtained by measuring the thermal conductivity coefficient k (W/mK) of nanocomposites produced by adding Carbon Black (Carbon Black) NPs in wt% 0.3%, wt% 0.6% and wt% 1% were compared with the plain sample. intended to be done. It is aimed to contribute to the literature by making measurements on the thermal conductivity coefficient and specific heat values of all composite samples prepared with Carbon Black (CB) NPs additives in the Hot disk TPS 2500S thermal conductivity test device. It was determined that the heat transmission coefficient in the axial direction caused an increase of 11.96% in the 0.6% carbon black added sample to the highest value. It was concluded that the carbon black obtained from the waste tires positively affects the thermal conductivity of the epoxy resin. ORCID NO: 0000-0003-3065-0189
