In the globalizing world, the rapid development of technology and industry in every field has made life easier, and in parallel, the need for energy has increased. The increase in heat-retaining gases such as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has brought the average temperatures to the highest levels as a result of the release of greenhouse gases. The increase in the world population has led to a rapid increase in energy demand. The recent global climate change has increased people's consumption of fossil fuels. In this study, the reduction of foreign dependency of the new nuclear power plants in Turkey and the use of cheaper energy, the importance of nuclear power plants in the world and in our lives, and the positive/negative effects of nuclear power plants were evaluated.
Energy is the biggest power accelerating modern life and keeping up with today's technology. The increasing world population has necessitated many needs. Especially in the last two years, the pandemic (covid -19) has negatively affected the world and humanity. It has brought with it the troubles, needs and many problems experienced in almost every area of life, especially in the economy. Energy lies at the heart of the changing and rapidly developing space age.
